Alaska Cruise - Day 5

Hey everyone

Greetings from Prince Rupert, Canada! I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to post today (the last day we'll be docking in a port - tomorrow is a total "sea day" on the way back to our final destination in Seattle), but the folks at Good Times Electronics and Games were good enough to let me use their internet connection to upload a few more photos:

**EDIT: I'm re-arranging all the cruise photos in our Photobucket gallery, so the slide-shows that were embedded in these posts have been disabled. To see the photos, visit

A new slide-show will be embedded in the most recent post, at the top of the page, once the re-arranging is done.

Of course, I've got literally HUNDREDS more that I haven't posted yet... but they'll have to wait until I get home and have the time to let them all upload.

So... it's been a great day since the last post. After getting back from Skagway (which, frankly, was our LEAST favorite port - the part we could get to was pretty much the Disney version of Alaska), we chilled for a while, and then had dinner at the onboard Sushi restaurant. It was excellent!

We saw Julie Goldman do standup last night (she's a very very funny lady from Logo's Big Gay Sketch Show), and totally cracked up.

Finally, this afternoon was something of a highlight for us - we got to see Sharon Gless in (and AT) her new film
Hannah Free - a moving and wonderful story. If you get the chance to see this film, don't turn it down. It's a beautiful piece of storytelling!

Tonight Julie Gold is doing standup in the big theater, and there's a Cirque de Soliel - type performance that we may go to... Tomorrow (as I mentioned above) we'll be at sea all day heading back to Seattle. So, this will probably be the last post until I get back home...

hope you're all doing well!
